Who doesn’t love great food with a little side of jazz? If you’re a Sunday bruncher who enjoys their meal with a “twist”, then look no further than the Twisted Oak Tavern.

Located inside a newly renovated space at the Greens Golf and Country Club, the Twisted Oak Tavern serves up a killer brunch with awesome views.

The food is excellent, but the drinks are A-MAZING. If you’re tired of the same old boring cocktail, then Twisted Oak Tavern offers fruity, tropical, crazy-delicious drinks like Resting Brunch Face, Brunch Punch, Yacht Rock, and Fluent In French. They’re seriously some of the best drinks I’ve had! Yes, they’re all alcoholic – which everyone knows makes brunch extra fun. If you’re wanting to ramp it up a bit, try the Dog and Pony Show, which includes liquor AND beer (which is right up my alley!)

Let’s move on to the food –  because we’ll all need food after drinks like those! The Greens offers a Jazz Brunch on the last Sunday of every month and coincidentally, I was lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time!  The brunch buffet was outstanding and made even better (if possible) by the jazz music. It included just about everything you could dream of: waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, fruit, potatoes and salmon.  After gorging on the buffet in the main dining room, my group made our way over to the Twisted Oak Tavern, and tried the loaded cheese fries, salads, sandwiches – you get the idea. I didn’t need to eat for a week after this!  And of course, I need to mention the view of the beautiful golf course.  A little birdie told me they just put in new greens and bunkers on the whole course –  so next time, I’m definitely bringing my clubs!

You can try the Twisted Oak Tavern yourself by visiting the Greens Country Club, or by going to The Hangover Brunch, where they will be a participant on April 22! Get tickets while they’re still available on thehangoverbrunchokc.com!
